the room was very hommie
Location central to my business meetings. The price was right. The amenities were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful The room was nicely furnished and clean
The restaurant menu was mediocre.
14% tax added to room price!
The location of Hotel Latham is perfect. It is right in the middle of Georgetown's M Street, a place so vibrant and full of life. The place is surrounded by different types of restaurants from different places in the world. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will come back.
hotel has gone down since our last stay 5 years ago. nothing has been done to it. Old TV's that had trouble working we had to have them up 4 times, carpet needs to be replaced, leaking sink and shower, door to bath looked like it had been kicked in, lamps had short so hard to turn on/off. Alarm in elevator went off 3 times at 5 am, called desk and he said they were working on the elevator, at 5am and ringing the alarm????In general the facility needs an overhaul. Lobby still nice.
The hotel was dirty and in need of major repairs. I found one rather large bug in my room and considered sleeping in my clothes because the room felt dirty.
Excelent loccation good rooms and prices.
We were given rooms without windows. The internet in my colleagues room did not work well. We were told that they will move us to a room with a window in the morning. In the morning we were told that every one will be relocated to another hotel as there is an emergency in the hotel. We were not told what exactly is the emergency so we left a third colleague in the hotel and we were worried about her as we did not know the nature of the emergency. When we came back to the hotel after a meeting they were not professional on giving us directions to the new hotel and gave us the wrong hotel. When we sent to the new hotel they did not know about us. It wasted one of our precious two days in Georgetown.
We liked the ambience of the hotel, the location, the closeness of the shops, the eateries and the metro rail. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
We stayed in a smaller room; the location was very good, but the king size bed was too firm, it squeaked each time you got on and off and the air-conditioning system clicked 3-4 times each time it went on.
Proximity to the C&O Canal Bike Trail.
Great location and friendly staff. This is an older hotel, but it is clean and right in the middle of George Town. We would stay there again.
The parking is on the pricy side at $38 per night, but if you are not going to be moving your car around, there is public parking for a flat $11 per day on the weekend. We had bikes in our car and the Hotel staff were happy to bring the car and bikes to us when ever we needed them. This more than made up for the higher cost.
That it is in Georgetown on M Street.
Would be nice if there are also tea bags in the room and not just coffee. The small TV should be upgraded many levels up.
The location was perfect. It was a treat to have free wi-fi.
The amenities were very poor. There was no mini fridge. There were no robes (I think the advance material said that there would be robes). The bathroom was tiny. The towels were very small. The TV was very small. There was an outdoor pool advertised but it was covered; the pool patio area had no chairs or any place to sit in the sun.
The place is really luxury and the location is very close to many attraction sites in the DC
At the beginning there was a confusion becuse the system was not syn with Booking site. They had to call and check many times.
Quite but rather out of date.
